The specialist support fabric used for Fulcionel has a high Lycra content which is pre-set using a unique process. The fabric is specially formulated to give equal stretch hence will adjust evenly to offer balanced support against a hernia.
In user trials Fulcionel was tested and compared to other leading brands. The study revealed most users found the Fulcionel garment to be more comfortable whilst providing excellent support. Fulcionel can thus be worn for longer periods of time without feeling restricted. Trials have shown that users especially preferred Fulcionel during physical activity as well as for everyday use to any other support garment.
Fulcionel is manufactured using a support fabric which is made from 42% Lycra. The lower part of the garment uses a comfortable microfibre which enables the garment to be put on and taken off with ease. This unique feature enhances this range considerably compared to conventional support underwear.
A comprehensive size range from extra small to extra large ensures that the fitting of the Fulcionel garment is more accurate thus enhancing the level of comfort and support provided.
If you wish to have your garment personalised and require an opening to be made for your Stoma appliance, this can be done easily using our patented system by contacting your Stoma Care Nurse or home delivery company.
Recommended washing and care of Fulcionel
It is recommended that the garment be washed at 40°C.
If the garment has been soiled with blood, faeces or urine then a 60°C wash can be used.
Please do not wash at a higher temperature than advised as this may affect the performance and support your garment provides.
For best results use a separate wash bag.
Where a Velcro opening is fitted, please ensure this is closed when washing as it may damage other washing.
Tumble dry at medium heat settings.
